San Leandros Sim

I have to divulge the first time I happened upon this sim was through a freebie notice. Which I never did get, because I got to entranced by the lovely setting off to the left from the central teleportation point. So, while chatting with some new fellow I morphed into a mermaid and planted myself in the lovely little pond and took a couple of pictures until that devilishly beautiful Ofelia distraceted me with stories of her shopping withdrawl blues and we attacked the Prim & Proper sale and spent the day goofing off.

But, today I loged in to the reception of a little note from Helena Compton about her store on the San Leandros sim and a dollarbie bag available there. She sent me a sample and I have to say, thanks! I love that it has a pose and it is a good one. The texture is chic and the product appears well made. So here I find myself hooked like a fish wandering around San Leandros all thanks to the bella Helena grazie. =)

All the skins worn are from the Stellar Designs Valentine Day Heart Hunt $1 each- there are male skins in this hunt to - go here to take a look at all the skins. Chinese, Japanese, Look at These ...

+Honey+ is moving their main store and until 23 March (which may be 22 March to those not in Japan) you can pick up some awesome deals at the soon to be closed store in Nagasaki City. You'll find the jam packed free vendors upstairs, a 5 minute camp chair for heels, and 3 lucky boards that change every 2 minutes. Downstairs you'll find a couple freebies and all clothes priced $100 or less. Most are $25 - 50! The shoes and hairs upstairs are on sale $50 or less. You may also pick up poses and a free pose stand that lets you scroll through several poses. +Honey+ does have a couple of outfits for guys too! Relax at The Refuge and The Prospect

Wow, this weekend was really crazy between the gossip girl goodness (written about in previous post), skin fair (Vanity Universe sim), and Rue D' Antibes Sim opening. I took tons of photos, but being a bit of a scatterbrain and distracted by wheat I only have a couple to show that aren't yet expired.

So first up, Icing (Mischief 114,191,24) has another freebie dress up for grabs. I modeled it hear with the skin from Tuli's booth at the skin fair. Unfortunately I didn't write down the slurl for the booth and can't seem to teleport back in. If you happen to make it into the skin fair please pass by this booth. (ETA: sorry info for the wrong post was here. This is Tuli's skin!)The hair is turning out to be my favorite hair and it's one I picked up from the Amorepacific sims (read more here).



The next two are from Silent Sparrow(Rue D'Antibes (190, 57, 28).



You'll find both of these looks in a blue pumpkin sitting outside the Silent Sparrow's store (landmark info above). The skin I used for both looks is from the La Sylphide (Rue D'Antibes (161, 21, 28) store in celebrations of the sim opening here. The boots I'm wearing in the lower picture unfortunately were only available for this weekend, but there is a box with 3 pairs of very nice boots (Free boots by Noals Nakamura) at the Calleta's Hobo Railroad Infohub (Calleta 80,166,24) . The hair is the unisex hair from Boon (Yurakucho 74, 80, 35). The pants are just simple self created and tinted black underwear. hee hee

All the photos were taken at the Am Radio's amazing exhibt "The Refuge and The Prospect" (Callistei (128, 127, 23)that will end March 6th. So HURRY and see this amazing sim wide exhibt! The eye's I'm wearing in all the photos are by Shapes by Zada (Talisman (81, 134, 24)made especially for the Far and Away instillation also by Am Radio, but work nicely at The Refuge and The Prospect also.

The Free Ring ~ Freebies with a Cause

Some people give away freebies for a reason. And giving away things in hopes that others will give back is a pretty noble one. The Free Ring has been set up as a free area for the citizens of Second Life in hopes that we will give back to the War Child International. Here is the low down on the area as I received it via a notecard:

"The EvoluonBallroom houses a project started by Rosalie Rothlisberger to raise money for War Child.

War Child International is a network of independent organisations, working across the world to help children affected by war.

War Child was founded upon a fundamental goal: to advance the cause of peace through investing hope in the lives of children caught up in the horrors of war.

The Ballroom is open to the public free of charge. There are donation boxes where people that enjoy the place can donate into. All donations are going straight to War Child.
One of the 3 rings of the building is 'The Free Ring' where great items provided by sl creators can be found."

The hair is a group gift prominently displayed in Burning Chrome store. You get pink, green, & blonde hair in the pack. The hair isn't released in store for sale, so if you want it you have to join the group and get the gift. Burning Chrome has weekly group gifts along with two lucky chairs in store. Many of the items in store are either unisex or available in a different size for men and women. Burning chrome also participates in a lot of hunts. Ninja Iga

Today the Ninja Iga sim opened up (official website here). It is a Japanese orientation point, but some of the instructions are in English- so feel free to explore a bit. If you do complete the orientation and solve the puzzle you'll recieve a pretty cool ninja outfit ($0).



I opted to wear my own shape with the outfit, but a male shape, and also a cool ninja hud is included. There's also a female version ($0), but....

Just wanted to share some items found at the Gatcha-Gatcha festival. This event ends very soon (31 October). Soldering Wire, Check

I got sort of torqued after waiting all day to see if I could bring my lappy to a local computer dr. that I decided to take matters in to my own hands. I figured it was a lost cause & it was confooked beyond repair. So what harm could I do? I'm happy to say... \o/ Yay! I iz does solder and have hopefully fixed my laptop. I'm amazed that I took it apart and put it back together (nevermind it took 4 hours). And it works, lol. Actually, I'm stunned. And did I mention it works? Even my bf is beyond impressed at my skill*z*. (ssshhh, I didn't tell him I took apart my parents' washer when I was 11 & fixed it with the assisstance of my 6 yr old brother. \o/ Yay for polariods to remember where all the pieces went too!)

Now at long last (oi, almost a week without photoshop=( ), I'm able to take pictures! So I'm going to go back & add some pics to the post below, but I'm sooooo behind that I wanted to start a new entry too.....

You can pick up the cutest cartoony unisex panda skin at Free Style. This skin is an excelent pick for hunts!!! Since there are no naughty bits you can fly around sans clothes and be totally adorable. You'll find the skin in a bill ($) stuck in a manaquin head. The above outfit was a free find in the dumpster outside of Little Heaven's store. There are bevy of gifts good for guys or girls including afk cross & animated brooms in the dumpster. Inside the main store you can find nooses that allow you to camp for items. I was lucky enough to receive several freebies from Huxly Hudson & Leila Dix of Sin & Secrets to preview for you guys. Besides the dress shown below they also have a super sexy lingerie set that will get your lover purring, a unisex logowear tshirt, and a lovely $1 skin for girls. This store is bursting with come hither clothing so I decided to show it in a somewhat different light and go kawaii cute with the dress I'm showcasing to show that there is a bit of versatility to the sexy goods. The hair (Lolly) shown with the dress is from Here Comes Trouble (HCT) and is found on the freebie wall of the women's hair shop. Guys can find a ton of hair on the cheap from afro-friendly braids to punker mohawks on the $1 wall in the men's hair shop. This is also one of the few stores that makes hair for furrie avatars. The purse is from a cute little Japanese store Noko which has a ton of art inspired furniture & clothing. You'll want to roam around the store and take your time browsing because some freebies are mixed in with the other items especially in the furniture section. The City Mission

So, you want a little ambiance with your freebies? Then the City Mission along the Hobo Railroad is your sort of place. When you walk in the door there is a wall with nice little pictures you can click on to take a copy of the things offered in that 'row' of pictures.
You can also take a nice stroll up the stairs and touch the nifty drawers and download your oh-so-gritty attire (aka hobo clothes).

Saturday at the Gossip Girl Sim

Hey Dolls,

If you haven't heard there's some big festivities planned this weekend on the Gossip Girls sim. I decided to feature my favorite designer's $1 deal offerings here, but there will be many other vendors offering up goodies for you all there. So on to Nef's lovely creations from the Ivalde's booth (GossipGirl3 35,159,27) on the GossipGirls3 sim:



The Marianne dress is available for this special event for only $1. I showed it here with Another Shop skin mod that is no longer available- oops. You can get the original Another Shop skins in a variety of skin tones at Another Shop (Lippert (74, 176, 179) for free. ($0) I was lucky enough to be given the hair that is available on the lucky chair at BP* Shop (Osaka 147,138,21) after waiting a mere 6 hours to see an A. I wish you much better luck.($0) The shoes are from Tesla's which again if you're lucky you may be able to win on her Lucky Chair (read about it here). ($0)

I picked up the unisex hair at Boon (Yurakucho 74, 80, 35) available in a fat pack ($0). I lowered the hair a bit on my head, so the style worn as is looks a little different. There's also a skin here for $1.

Although there were two additional $1 dresses I was only able to purchase one of them at the time of my visit. Here's the dress:



The Siri Denim dress will be a great addition to any spring wardrobe and what a bargain at $1. Besides providing all the dresses for $1 in her Ivalde's booth Nef also passed on ALL the information about this weekend's festivities going on at the Gossip Girl's sim. I'll share it below....

New Discord North Lucky Chair Dress
