I'm baaaaaaaack................

Computer problems 75% solved. After some mix up I was *finally* mailed the correct fan for my laptop and installed it and everything is working. And now with a semi-updated photoshop I can blog.....

So you guys probably know all about these things, but since I haven't been around I really haven't heard much about it. There's a grid wide Gorean hunt (not kid friendly) taking place until the end of this month (read more about it at the sponsor's website here). You'll be searching for a Talendar Flower at each store. Some signs still display the end date as being January 19th, but with the extension the end is January 31. Which if you've been putting this hunt off is a good thing! The first couple of places were relatively easy to find and from there the flowers just are a bit hard to find & with no 'I give up' landmark to the next place if you get stumped you're forced to give up on the entire hunt or contact the coordinator for assistance.

I'd really recommend doing this hunt with several people so you can help each other (unless you're an experienced hunter). This is probably your best plan of attack since the flowers which you are hunting for move. ;) You'll find that not all of the objects are limited to the Gorean 'lifestyle' and you're sure to find a couple new merchants that you'll want to keep track of. The hunt prizes include: silks & camisks, free women's attire, jewelry/accessories, an animation, haremn tent, (lots of really nice) furniture & house accessories, cloak, male clothing, & a gift certificate.

I made modesty shorts to wear with many of the outfits. You can do this by opening your inventory > from the CREATE menu > select NEW CLOTHES > you'll want to create NEW PANTS or UNDERPANTS. The new pants will appear in your clothing folder. Wear the pants and then right click your avatar and select appearance and then edit your pants or underpants tinting to a shade that is close to your skintone.

The Huntresses

There are a massive amount of hunts lately. I just have to take a moment to point out the excellent job done by 3 fellow bloggers. It's so easy to just pick out 3 or 4 outfits from hunts and feature them, but it's a real challenge to do a hunt and take 50-100-150 or even 200 pictures for just a couple of blog entries featuring the bulk of prizes in any one hunt.



The blog entries regarding hunts are a great service that allows those of us that don't have a lot of time to choose which hunts we find interesting and it allows the stores who participate in these hunts a platform for their items to be featured along side everyone else's prize contributions equally. Those of us that participate in doing these types of posts hope that it also gives participants a clear tangible indication of just how much effort each organizer puts into their respective hunts and thus an appreciation for not only the individual prizes, but for the time involved in organizing.

ROCKET-FM becomes 3 years old on June 1st. This tresure hunt is meant to celebrate our 3 years anniversary.
Thank you very much for joining us.

Please read following rules and instructions.

- This hunt is pretty much alike to "quests". Quests/Hunts will proceed as you click avatar photo board (Just like NPCs ).
They speak dialogs in Japanese but you will get hints in English while you are wearing Treasure hunt HUD for this event.(When you click on avatar photo board, you need to be within 10m radius)

- Blogging this event is welcome. Although please do not publish direct locations of each items nor sending out notecards of those.

- This SIM has 2 layers, ground level and sky platform at 300m altitude. Please read HUD instruction for navigation between these two.

- This SIM has CDS. We can not take any requests about CDS such as unbans.

- Any harassments, griefing, or any other unwanted behaviors would cause a ban without warning even if it is during the hunt event.



- You can close the HUD if you touch the black the black bookmark marked as "Rocket-FM 3rd Anniversary treasure Hunt".

- You can open the HUD once you click the closed memopad HUD.

- Large map for tp will pop up once you click the name of the location on the left page.

- Your current quest will be displayed on the right page.

- The color of the font for the quest display indicates the destination correspending color on the map.

- You can not receive same items more than once due to the quests scripts and system.
If you happen to miss receiving items and such by SIM or SL lags, you need to get new HUD and start over.
