I will be infrequently blogging, due to relocating until 1 August 2009.

I guess it's been a while and there are definitely a ton of hunts and bargains to pick up, but I've just finally gotten into my new place and am surrounded by boxes. =| I decided to pop on and post a couple of things & say yah, I'm still alive & everything is okey-dokey. =]



At Inga Wind's you can hunt around for 12 special LAUNDRY baskets in store that will allow you to put together the above outfit. You basically get two looks - one with apron and one without and the hunt does include shoes dyed to match. Remember to look high and low for those special laundry baskets which include a prize. The hair is free from Curious Kitties. There are 4 hairs total that are free and if you'd like to change the color of the free hairs you can purchase a color hud starting at $100. The duck that was out at the time I did the hunt and subsequently took photos was " the fake duckie not [the] real duckie". So here is an update. If you picked up the decoy duck, then check back at mi pop.

In the future I will NOT do updates of prizes, please label your items as decoys/fakes/tests. It takes a tremendous amount of time to do these hunts and take pictures of the prizes. You're more than welcome to comment on any post and point to your prize, it's number, include pictures, point to other freebie blogs, etc - whatever you deem necessary.

Come Celebrate Virtual Impressions 3rd Birthday, Champagne for all :))

Virtual Impressions began on March 14th 2007, opening a small space in a mall, selling a few sparkly shoes and simple pearl necklaces.

3 years on and it has grown up considerably.

From Saturday 13th March until Saurday 20th March, to mark this milestone there, will be some miniture bottles of bubby around the store to discover with treasure inside.

There are 6 for men and at least 24 for Ladies, with contributions also kindly provided by the vendors on the first floor, ie Styles of edo, Angel Dessous, B-Style, Crie Style, Grasp, A Folie, and 2 of the designers have supplied a treasure items exclusive to the Virtual Impressions Hunt, Bliss Couture and Azul. How long to complete the hunt? 4 hours 15 minutes (It will probably go quicker because you can look at the Official Hints and see which stores aren't out and move on to the next item!) I did this hunt alone.

Were folders labeled consistently?
Yes, and only one was boxed #35. Very well organized!

Were all items found?
No - but the official hint list helps you know which are out and which aren't. At time of hunt the following numbers were to be skipped: 8, 17, 18, 37, 39, 47, 53, & 59. 12 is to be delivered later by the owner - the apple was empty at the time I did the hunt. Keep checking the official site for info.

The apples are relatively easy to find and this hunt would be good for new players. There was only one apple near the end of the hunt that was inside an item; a good exercise in camming. Remember, there's always the list of hints with slurls to the next store if you get stumped!

Zaara has a large assortment of Women's casual to formal wear. There's also a small line of jewelry ($75-175/piece & $225/set). The men's clothing line ($90/piece-450/ensamble) has expanded recently, but is still rather small. The main focus is Women's wear; you'll find casual separates starting at $100 to wedding ensambles at $1200. All items are non-giftable no transfer. Sample items shown were obtained at the Zaara Polly Jean location and not at the main store. Mashooka is comprised of two stores: one comprised of traditional Indian inspired clothing and the other store is non-traditional clothing. In the traditional clothing store you can find jewelry & clothing for both men and women. The clothing ranges from simple to formal wedding wear. Prices start are $15 in the sale section to $1400 for ensambles. The men's clothing line comprises a much smaller section of this store and prices range from $15 - 300. Most clothing items are transferable, however a few are not so always take notice prior to purchasing. Jewelry in this store ranges from $30 for a simple bindi - $475. Shown both above and below are pictures of clothing & jewelry from Yak & Yeti. Yak & Yeti is a long time staple for free clothing, jewelry, & furniture. All are beautifully textured and all the owner asks for is a simple donation. Numerous outfits for both men and women are available. You'll also find an extensive jewelry collection which includes a couple of pieces for men. And you may also pick up several accent pieces for the home. While more hippie chic Sari's is definitely worth mentioning since there's no question of Indian influence. Schnappi had started this hunt 1-23, but asked me to take it over so I'll be concentrating on items 24 - 99. I'll be adding the remaining photos later, here are some just to give you an idea of what the prizes are like.
