    • Ford Fiestas will take center stage on the Ford stand at this year's SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) show, to be held Nov. 2-5 at the Las Vegas Convention Center
    • Ford Fiesta provides the perfect platform for customers and aftermarket companies looking to express themselves in a fun, unique way. Owners have already begun customizing their Fiestas with graphics and accessories available through Ford, and SEMA takes that customization to the next level
    • The all-new Ford Fiesta features an expressive, vibrant design, sharp reflexes, and a global track record that will redefine U.S. small car customers' expectations. With 15 available class-exclusive features and technologies and best-in-class highway fuel economy of up to 40 mpg, Fiesta brings efficiency and convenience together in one package

People love to modify small cars, so it's no surprise that consumers and aftermarket companies are eager to get their hands on Ford's hot-selling Fiesta, set to debut at this year's SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) show in Las Vegas Nov. 2-5.

"The Fiesta is one of those vehicles that resonates with everybody - especially with the younger market. Whatever you're into, it works," said Melvin Betancourt, Ford specialty design manager. "It lends itself to a lot of different themes. It's a perfect fit for the aftermarket and for customers who want to express their personality."

"SEMA offers the perfect opportunity to showcase all the different ways the personalities of the Fiesta can be expressed," said Sam De La Garza, Fiesta brand manager.

"It really shows how Fiesta can be accessorized and how this canvas can be altered to meet many different customer wants and desires," De La Garza said. "SEMA represents a special opportunity, because we can show off unique designs that other companies have created. It's not just Ford coming to the table. It's other companies interpreting what Fiesta is, and bringing their own style to the Fiesta launch."

Customization is something already familiar to Fiesta owners. Ford Custom Accessories offers almost anything an owner would need to put a creative touch on Fiesta or give the car even more functionality. Accessory options include exterior or interior design items such as an illuminated gear indicator shift knob and rear spoiler, even a kayak carrier to haul outdoor gear. Customers also can order a body-side tattoo, or choose from one of 18 available graphics to put their own mark on Fiesta.

"Small cars are unique in that people love to modify them, whether it's the exterior, interior, or even performance parts," De La Garza said.

Ford Racing Performance Parts is putting its own spin on a Fiesta at SEMA, outfitting a concept Fiesta in a way that is sure to get the hearts of high-performance enthusiasts pumping. The Fiesta will have a production-based 2.0-liter EcoBoostTM engine, enlarged to 2.3 liters to pump out 350 horsepower.

"The goal of our 350-horsepower Fiesta is really twofold - first to reinforce Fiesta's fun-to-drive nature with an extreme version that captures the attention of the influential enthusiast, and second, to introduce the Ford Racing/EcoBoost connection in a way that's unexpected and outrageous," said Mickey Matus, Ford Racing Performance group marketing manager. "In both cases, we're targeting the discriminating performance enthusiast with our message. After all, they are the people others rely on for automotive expertise and recommendations."
The car comes equipped with several Ford Racing Performance Parts options that are currently available at www.fordracingparts.com. A short-throw shifter offers more precise shifting, while a Ford Racing exhaust gives off a deeper, throatier exhaust note. Also available are 17-inch wheels that are cast-aluminum and painted in charcoal gray.

Additionally, the car features Brembo brakes that offer the ultimate in stopping power, and Ohlins dual-flow valve dampers that deliver comfort and agility.

Ford Racing's Fiesta will arrive in all-blue, pristine condition, and will be painted by a renowned artist during the show with the intention of auctioning the car in the future to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF).

2011 Roush 5XR Ford Mustang GT

Roush is remaking the new 2011 Mustang GT, and called it the 2011 ROUSH 5XR Mustang. The staggering 5XR Mustang will be offered as both, coupe and convertible, but only with a six-speed manual transmission, and only until their number of the manufactured rides hit the 150th unit, which will announce the end of the production.

The 2011 ROUSH 5XR tops the V8 with a R2300 ROUSHcharger boosting output to 525 horsepower and 465 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine breathes through a custom exhaust system with square tips that Roush claims give it a throaty sound.

There is a whole raft of new exterior changes that don’t really get any sensation with the sleeper car driving community despite the fact that all the changes come as a post-title vehicle and the modifications get a 3 year or 36000 mile warranty.

To handle the road, a ROUSH suspension kit has been installed to provide superior handling and ride control. This includes front struts, rear shocks and rear springs, front and rear stabilizer bars. The car rides on ROUSH 20-inch chrome rims with high-performance Cooper RS3 tires.

Amongst the optional upgrades are the color-matched sport leather seats, big four-piston brakes with 14-inch slotted rotors, vent pod gauge, and a lower three-piece billet grille.

When Roush upgrades a Mustang, obviously it starts with a more powerful engine, but the fun usually doesn't end there. The 5XR will also feature a bevy of upgraded components, including a suspension kit with new front shocks and rear springs and front and rear stabilizer bars. Power will be transferred to the road via 20-inch chrome wheels wrapped with high-performance Cooper RS3 tires.

    Press Release

Jack Roush is a man who knows how to coax horsepower from an engine. ROUSH® has become an automotive powerhouse based on this simple premise, and he couldn't wait to get his hands, and his engineering team, on the new Ford 5.0L engine. The end result, and the car fans of the ROUSH Mustang have been waiting for, is the 2011 ROUSH 5XRTM Mustang with "more power" under the hood thanks to the factory-installed ROUSHcharger®.

Make no mistake, the 2011 ROUSH 5XR is a runner. With the R2300 ROUSHcharger installed the 2011 ROUSH 5XR Mustang will sport an "extreme" 525 horsepower under the hood, along with an "exciting" 465 lb.-ft. of torque. To keep the "exclusivity" high, there will be a maximum of just 150 units of the 2011 ROUSH 5XR Mustang built, each with a 3-year/36,000 mile warranty on the powertrain and ROUSH components. The 2011 ROUSH 5XR Mustang is available in a coupe or convertible, but only with a six-speed manual transmission.

"I'm always excited to get an opportunity to work on a new engine, and the Ford 5.0-liter is a great platform. It has 412 horsepower to begin with, but our group was able to coax out another 113 horsepower with the ROUSHcharger. The 2011 ROUSH 5XR runs fast, sounds great, and is another amazing addition to the ROUSH Mustang heritage," said Jack Roush, motorsports legend and chairman of ROUSH Enterprises.

To handle the road, a ROUSH suspension kit has been installed to provide superior handling and ride control. This includes front struts, rear shocks and rear springs, front and rear stabilizer bars. The car rides on ROUSH 20-inch chrome rims with high-performance Cooper RS3 tires.

The installed ROUSH exhaust with square tips gives the 2011 ROUSH 5XR Mustang a deep, throaty sound worthy of a supercharged American V-8 muscle car. The aggressive ROUSH body kit changes the appearance of the car so people know that this is not just any Ford Mustang prowling the roads. The appearance upgrades include a ROUSH front fascia with driving lamps, front chin splitter, side rocker splitters, rear valance and three-piece decklid spoiler. A ROUSH upper billet grille streamlines the front of the vehicle and provides some additional cooling to the engine, and a unique 2011 ROUSH 5XR Mustang graphics package trims out the appearance of this limited edition vehicle. Badging unique to this vehicle can be found throughout the 2011 ROUSH 5XR Mustang.

One thing that makes this car different from previous ROUSH Mustangs is that the 2011 ROUSH 5XR Mustang will be sold only as a post-title vehicle. This means that the authorized ROUSH-Ford dealership must pre-sell the car to a customer or title the vehicle before the order can be placed in the ROUSH system. The 2011 ROUSH 5XR Mustang is not available for sale in California. Please contact your local ROUSH-authorized Ford dealer for more information, or visit www.ROUSHperformance.com to locate your nearest dealer.

A letter of authenticity, personally signed by Jack Roush, will be sent to each buyer of the 2011 ROUSH 5XR Mustang. The 2011 ROUSH 5XR package carries a suggested retail price of $15,390 in addition to the cost of the base Mustang chassis.

In addition to the rich collection of standard features, a variety of upgrade options are available for the 2011 ROUSH 5XR Mustang, including color-matched sport leather seats, big four-piston brakes with 14-inch slotted rotors, vent pod gauge, and a lower three-piece billet grille.

Ford Fiesta ST: the first sight

    autostream.blogspot.com

Ford Fiesta has replaced generation two years ago, but working out of a hot hatchback on its base still isn't finished. At the disposal of the British edition Auto Express there were espionage pictures of pre-production model Fiesta ST passing test now on a line a Nurnburgring. These pictures speak about much. If Audi, preparing high-speed version А1, doesn't change design Ford obviously plans to make the midget car more effectively. The car receives such attributes of factory tuning, as a bumper with the big air intake, an aerodynamic skirt on thresholds and the exhaust system dissolved on two parties. Through windows of the car "spies" also managed to consider sports seats-ladles Recaro.

It is expected that the novelty will receive turbo motor in a working volume of 1,6 l, developing about 200 h.p. Acceleration time to 100 km/h will be close to 6,5 sec, and the maximum speed – to 225 km/h. Ford company while in any way doesn't specify these assumptions and at all doesn't confirm terms of an exit this model on the market. According to Auto Express, the car will start to be on sale in Europe in the beginning of the next year.

2012 Ford Focus ST

The new 2012 Ford Focus ST will have its global premiere at the Paris Auto Show at the end of September, It will be joined by the sedan and wagon that complete the three-bodystyle global Focus family.

The 2012 Ford Focus ST will be the brand's first high-performance model developed under the watchful eye of its global performance vehicle team, and while the hatch you see here is being billed as a "design study," make no mistake – this will form the basis of the ST coming to market in early 2012.

Power is provided by an EcoBoost 2.0-liter inline four churning out 247 turbocharged horsepower, and Ford promises that the ST's handling and aural delights will live up to the marque's performance heritage. FoMoCo also makes it clear that the ST is bound for "all global markets from early 2012" so those of us in the States should finally get a crack at what's traditionally been a Euro-only affair.

A six-speed manual gearbox will be standard equipment. A strengthened version of Ford's six-speed Powershift dual-clutch arrangement will likely be an option. As tradition dictates, drive is channeled through the front wheels.

The interior doesn’t disappoint either, with a modern, sporty look befitting of the Focus ST’s performance intentions. Top notch? Definitely.

New Mondeo and C-MAX on Display
Taking their place alongside the next-generation Focus family will be five-door and wagon versions of the new Mondeo range, which was previewed at the recent Moscow International Automobile Salon. The Paris show sees the debut of the ultra-low CO2 Mondeo ECOnetic version. The Ford stand also showcases the latest S-MAX and Galaxy models which were launched earlier in 2010.

The all-new Ford C-MAX and Grand C-MAX will be represented by high series Titanium models fitted with a Ford EcoBoost 1.6-litre 180 PS petrol engine and the updated 2.0-litre Duratorq TDCi diesel. Bringing new levels of style and desirability to the compact Multi-Activity Vehicle (MAV) market, the all-new Ford C-MAX is the first production model using Ford's exciting new global C-segment platform. The Grand C-MAX also goes on sale in North America in late 2011.

Lower CO2 Emissions across the Ford Range
Ford is accelerating its efforts to minimise fuel consumption and CO2 emissions across its product range, and two important new entries to the Ford of Europe product portfolio are being displayed at Paris - a new Ford Mondeo ECOnetic model and a new Ford Ka derivative with standard Ford Auto-Start-Stop system.

These new models follow the significant new developments which have already been introduced during 2010, including the launch of the new high-efficiency Ford EcoBoost turbocharged direct injection petrol engine family and completely updated versions of the powerful yet highly fuel-efficient Duratorq TDCi diesel engines.

Ford is also moving forward with its European electrification program and will be displaying for the first time the core technology destined to drive its C-MAX PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle), that will be produced at the Valencia plant in Spain and is due to go on sale in Europe from 2013.

Along with the wider introduction of low-CO2 Ford ECOnetic Technologies such as Eco Mode and Smart Regenerative Charging, Ford of Europe is on track to surpass its goal of a 30 per cent reduction in CO2 emissions from its new vehicles by 2020, relative to a 2006 model year baseline.

"The launch of the complete new Focus range, plus the global debut of the high-performance ST model, makes this Paris Show not only very exciting for Ford, but also highly significant," said Stephen Odell, Chairman and CEO, Ford of Europe. "With the all-new C-MAX also on the Paris stand, along with the latest Mondeo, S-MAX and Galaxy models, it's clear that the pace of change within Ford remains as aggressive as ever."

Ford has announced prices for the new five-seat C-MAX and seven seat Grand C-MAX. The simplified range comprises two trim levels and five engines with prices starting at £16,745. The model goes on sale in the UK in October and previews some features of the 2011 Focus.

Both the Ford C-MAX and the Ford Grand C-MAX will be available in two trim levels, Zetec and Titanium, and with a 1.6-litre TDCi engine developing 125PS. The Ford C-MAX is equipped with five seats while its larger brother, the Grand C-MAX offers seven seats and twin sliding doors. Apart from the engine mentioned above, the new Ford C-MAX will also offer a choice between three petrol and one diesel additional engines.

The two trim levels are Zetec and Titanium. All models come with alloy wheels, air conditioning and a Thatcham category one alarm. The Grand C-MAX also has powered child locks for its sliding rear doors and rear parking sensors. The higher specification Titanium model adds automatic lights and wipers, dual-zone climate control and keyless start.

The five-seater C-Max kicks off at £16,745 for the C-Max 1.6 TI-VCT which offers 104bhp from its petrol lump and comes equipped with alloys, AirCon, DAB radio and Bluetooth. Top of the tree will be the Grand C-Max 2.0 TDCi (Powershift Auto) Titanium at £23,245.

    Press Release

Ford's all-new C-MAX will go on sale in the UK in October, priced from £16,745.

Both the sporty but spacious five-seater and the Grand, a versatile seven-seater, come with a simplified two-series line-up – Zetec and Titanium. Prices start from £16,745 for the C-MAX Zetec and £18,745 for the C-MAX Grand Zetec.

With almost two-thirds of UK buyers in this segment now seeking seven-seat flexibility, the Ford Grand C-MAX becomes the spiritual successor to today's model, which was also designed to maximise practicality. Priced from £18,745 for the 1.6-litre petrol 125PS Zetec, the Grand offers family-friendly flexibility, with the extra utility of twin sliding doors, versatile seating and improved engine efficiency - and all for just a £250 premium over today's model.

The Grand Zetec with 115PS 1.6-litre TDCi, the anticipated volume seller in the UK, is priced at £19,745 - £750 less than the outgoing equivalent.

The five-seat model will appeal to customers seeking more space than a regular family hatchback, but who do not want to sacrifice sporty design or driving dynamics. On the road prices start from £16,745 for the 1.6-litre petrol Zetec.

Mark Simpson, marketing director, Ford of Britain said: "When C-MAX was launched in 2003 it preserved all the brand's most important qualities including style, comfort and driving quality, but added more flexibility and space to the Focus package."

"Since then the market has expanded quite considerably with customers expressing a variety of needs. These are met with the family-friendly seven-seater and the sporty-but-spacious five-seater. The new Ford C-MAX and Grand C-MAX are priced to offer customers best value for money whilst still introducing many exciting new technologies which will feature on the all-new Focus due next year," he said.

Standard equipment on all models includes alloy wheels, air conditioning, leather steering wheel, Thatcham category one alarm, DAB radio/CD and Bluetooth with USB connectivity and voice control. Grand C-MAX has powered child-proof locks on the rear dual sliding doors, and rear parking sensors.

The Titanium trim supplements these features with auto front wipers and headlamps, dual electronic automatic temperature control, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, hill launch assist, keyless start, cruise control with speed limiter, premium Sony audio, and tyre deflation detection system. The Grand C-MAX Titanium also has power folding mirrors.

Customers will be offered a choice of three petrol engines and two diesel engines. Making its debut in the Ford C-MAX and Grand C-MAX is the all-new four-cylinder 1.6-litre 150PS Ford EcoBoost engine which comes with a new six-speed manual gearbox. This gearbox also accompanies the 1.6 TDCi and 2.0 TDCi powertrains, which are jointly projected to account for around 50 per cent of sales. For those preferring an automatic transmission, the dual-clutch Powershift six-speed automatic option is available with the 2.0 TDCi powertrain.
