The Peugeot 505 is a classic car. The Peugeot 505 was in many respects one of the last of its kind at a time, into the mainstream (as opposed to the prestige-) European manufacturers began to front-wheel-drive family cars, Peugeot has decided to rear wheel drive 505, the ontinuation the long tradition of family with fixed Peugeot 403, 404 and 504th.
The same technique was used as the 504, with independent rear on most saloon cars while still very practical to use a live rear axle.
